migawka. is a desktop app that runs on your machine. it doesn't have accounts, doesn't sync, and doesn't phone home with what you film.
what the app collects
nothing. the urls you point it at, the seeds and shot settings you choose, and the mp4s it renders all stay on your computer. there's no migawka account and no server we send your work to.
what this website collects
this marketing site uses umami, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool, to count page views in aggregate. that means:
- no cookies.nothing is stored on your device, so there's no cookie banner to dismiss.
- no personal data.we don't collect names, emails, ip addresses you can be identified by, or any cross-site profile.
- aggregate only. we see counts - which pages are popular, rough country, referrer, browser - never individuals.
it's the lightest measurement we could ship and still know whether anyone reads the changelog.
downloads & updates
installers are served from object storage. fetching one is an ordinary file request - your ip is visible to that request the same way it is for any download, and we don't log it to a profile.
